I served as a Program Coordinator at IRC for the "Expanding US-Pakistan Partnership for Diversity and Shared Heritage in Pakistan" project, which ran from January 2018 to March 2019. This project was carried out in collaboration with the US Embassy Pakistan and the Smithsonian Institute in Washington DC. It served as an extension of a previous initiative aimed at promoting folklore and traditional arts, fostering stronger connections with other cultural organizations, and encouraging creative expressions in Pakistan. In my role as a team leader, I played a key part in organizing the primary activities associated with the program. These activities included researching Folk Ballads of Pakistan, establishing partnerships with universities and educational institutions to raise awareness and engage the youth in cultural matters, and forging connections with various cultural institutions in Pakistan to bring them together on a unified platform. I also coordinated communication with all stakeholders, ensured timely quarterly and annual report submissions, and upheld the project's schedule. During my tenure as the Deputy Director (Research and Publications) at Lok Virsa, The National Institute of Folk and Traditional Heritage, from January 2018 to March 2018, my primary role involved conducting research aligned with the institute's mandate. I was also responsible for overseeing ongoing publication projects, including the management of brochures and annual reports for the institute. Furthermore, I took charge of managing the Faiz Heritage Library, ensuring its smooth operation and accessibility. Additionally, I spearheaded programs aimed at establishing Lok Virsa as a vibrant literary hub for the youth, fostering a love for traditional heritage and cultural appreciation. In line with these responsibilities, I actively fostered connections and collaborations with various organizations, seeking to create valuable linkages for the institute's growth and outreach.

I assumed the role of Coordinator for the National Cultural Policy at The National Institute of Folk and Traditional Heritage in March 2016. The institute launched the formulation of a Cultural Policy during that time, and I was entrusted with the task of overseeing provincial and national consultations related to this policy. My responsibilities encompassed establishing and maintaining connections with the Culture departments of various provincial governments across the country, ensuring their active participation in the policy formulation process. I also took charge of organizing meetings for the core committee members involved in this endeavor. Additionally, I was responsible for preparing a comprehensive report that encapsulated the entire process and outcomes of the provincial and national consultations on Cultural Policy.
I worked on addressing workplace sexual harassment through my role as a Coordinator AASHA, at Mehergarh, from 2006 to 2010. AASHA is an alliance comprised of several civil society organizations dedicated to formulating laws against workplace sexual harassment. As a core team member, my responsibilities encompassed establishing and maintaining connections with AASHA members, fostering regular and meaningful communication channels. I conducted research on relevant materials, news updates, and articles related to workplace sexual harassment, distributing this information to our members.
