Responsibilities:
• Preparing, monitoring & carrying out regular welding audits, welding procedure qualifications, welder performance qualifications and preparation of weld maps.
• Monitoring & inspection of execution of Steel Structure works pertaining to Main Pipe rack, Unit pipe racks, Equipment structures, sub-Pipe racks & Compressor Shelters as per approved drawings & Specifications.
• Raise NCR’s and RFI at various stages of inspection and for various activities (Structural inspection, Fit-up & Welding, NDT coordination, Flange management and reinstatement, Hydrotest activities inspection and witnessing.
• Participating in the kick-off meeting and weekly proceed progress meeting. Devising and implementing company quality assurance program in compliance with company requirements.
• Material Inspection and their MTC Review according to Specification requirement.
• Co-ordinate with a client for Hydro test, leak test, oil leak penetrates test, vacuum box test, and pneumatic test.
• Witness welding (PQR/WQT) / fabrication (sub assembly/fit-up) and Paint work (PQT/surface preparation and paint DFT).
• Inspecting & maintaining quality standards for incoming raw materials, equipment and ensuring stringent adherence to quality standards, norms & practices. Identifying gaps and taking corrective action of various activities; inspection of welding & fabrication works for dimensional accuracy, Flange management and reinstatement, Hydrotest activities inspection and witnessing.
• Preparing and submitting daily/monthly performance reports and providing all technical and QC documentation and necessary advice to obtain relevant approval for all Engineering/operations of the project including providing QC inputs.
• Experience in preparation, review of Test Packages and hydrotesting testing witness. Generating Punches of line walk activities.
• Applicable codes & standard ASME 31.3, ASME SEC V, API 650, AWS D1.1 and API-1104.
Responsibilities:
• To plan, organize, documentation, inspection and testing activities of welding and fabrication.
• Design, develop and implement best quality practices and processes to the AUTOCOM.
• To monitor quality at all levels of production (from raw material receiving to finished product). To identify product quality problems, determine the root cause analysis and suggest the corrective & preventive actions.
• Ensure compliance of QMS ISO 9001 with the company's best practices and standards.
• To develop welding procedures specification and to ensure implementation of welding procedures.
• Carried out visual inspection, welding consumable verification, dimensional check, performance test, welder qualification, welder training and performance monitoring.
• Using relevant quality tools and making sure that manufacturing or production processes meet international and national standards.
• Prepared & Approval for implementation of welding procedure specification (WPS/PQR), Approval given to welders for work by testing of welding performance qualification (WPQ).
• Responsible for overall quality control project responsibilities such as interaction and coordination with clients, design, planning, production, welding and NDE.
• Review of quality control plan, monitoring and ensuring the project documentation of overall activities
• Preparing the inspection test plan (ITP) in accordance with client or project specification requirements.
• All Raw Material Inspection and their MTC Review acc. to Spec. Requirement.
• Monitor and control the fabrication activities as per the contract specification/ codes and standards /approved drawings and procedures, work instructions, and material identification.
• Apply total quality management tools and approaches to analytical and reporting processes.
• Records and endorse reports of inspection and test witness.
• Hydro test and Pneumatic test witnessing by the advanced sensor WIFI operated system.
