I am responsible for developing, implementing and executing strategic marketing plans for a company in order to attract potential customers and retain existing ones.
1. Welcomes and greets guests upon their arrival and departure.
2. Maintains a positive liaison with the front office, housekeeping and kitchen departments.
3. Steers the guest relation efforts in order to create and maintain a positive hotel image for the guests.
4. Extends all assistance to the guests in their ticketing, onward reservation through out the world.
5. Makes regular country calls to ascertain if the guest is comfortable.
6. Arranges tours for sightseeing, shopping sprees for the guests.
7. Maintains guest history cards.
8. Supervises distribution of morning VIP release. Ensures that relevant amenities are placed in the rooms before arrival of guests.
9. Pre-registers VIP and repeat guests with all available information on the registration card.
10. Informs cancellations to the room service, cost control and housekeeping. Issues return notice to room service after VIP departures
