概要

Im a 2016 graduate of Lahore University of Management Sciences, with a major in Economics and a minor in History. I have a strong social sciences background, and have taken numerous courses which have well-accustomed me to the art of research and academic writing. They also helped me to look at queries from different social perspectives, which is important in real life because problems are often an amalgam of several issues, as opposed to one, and require a multi-facet approach to be resolved. I used this approach in the project I did with Sustainable Development Policy Institute, where the state of governance across the country was being looked at.

I have also worked as a Research Executive with Gallup Pakistan and worked on their daily publications, as well as special publications gauging public opinion, such as the Independence Day Report.

Recently, I also worked on my excel skills and learned a new data analysis software called Tableau, while working with Orenda, an education sector NGO which works on curriculum development and education technologies. I also worked with Business Recorder on their research piece on Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) (amongst other things), where I came to appreciate the reach of the government, which increased my desire to work with firms closely associated with the government.

Although my CV will list down my experiences, it cannot list personal qualities. I am a spirited, motivated individual, looking for a chance to learn, and make a slight difference with the knowledge I have. Working for The United Nations is not only in line with my career goals, it is also in line with my life goals. I want to do work which makes an impact, and United Nations, with its operations aimed to help governments is perfect in this regard. I hope you can find a place for me in your organisation. You will find me to be very competent and conscientious.
