Introduction
I am currently the Manager of PMER at Dost Welfare Foundation (DOST) in Peshawar. I also hold additional responsibilities including lead Human Resource Development programme at DOST's HRDC. My primary role involves fostering strong relationships with key contacts, identifying and developing partnerships with potential donors/sponsors, writing Concept Notes and Proposals, finalizing grant documents, managing grants process, overseeing and reporting on the progress of ongoing projects, and maintaining track of the potential needs of the Organization. I am also looking after communication of the organization and maintaining social media platforms update. Development of the Organizations thematic and programmes presentations for new entrants including guests, donors, civil society and government representatives, media personnel and students of different disciplines. Acting as lead Human Resource Development (HRD) Programme, I am responsible for designing, overall management of all training and development programmes for staff, clients and wide range of diverse stakeholders based on the Needs of each groups. In my additional responsibility as Communication lead I am responsible to maintain institutional memory in form of reports, brochures, booklets, presentations, documentary, photographs and other materials.
Over my 16 years of experience in the sector, I have dedicated last 13 years to volunteering with vulnerable and marginalized groups, including women, children, youth, and transgenders in various community settings. My commitment to society extends to volunteer work and affiliation with the Active Citizens Programme (ACP), Pakistan Forum for Democratic Policing (PFDP), Child Rights Movement (CRM), Civil Defence Directorate Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and UNODC/WHO for the UN Universal Prevention Curriculum (UPC), where I served as a focal person, trainer, and mentor for a new pool of trainers. As focal person for CRM, KP chapter I have been engaged in advocacy and consultation for legislation and enactment of laws for the protection and promotion of rights of vulnerable groups including children and women. I have also been engaged in advocacy activities focusing on increase in budgetary allocation for children focused programmes for health, education and social welfare from the platform of CRM.
My Master's in Project Management, combined with hands-on experience at every level of the project cycle, has equipped me with a strong understanding of project management in all its aspects, including planning and development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation, and reporting. This understanding has been further strengthened by opportunities to collaborate with international organizations like UN agencies, World Bank, INL-US, Save the Children, British Council Pakistan, PRI, the Colombo Plan, and ALMT UK, among others.
Exposure and Experience
I possess 16 years of experience in areas of public dealing, volunteer services, and collaboration with INGOs, NGOs, GOs, and philanthropists, including the World Bank, UN agencies, British Council Pakistan, Save the Children Pakistan, Penal Reform International (PRI), International Narcotics and Law Enforcement (INL) United States, Education Department KP, Provincial and Federal AIDS Control Programmes, Health Department KP, Civil Defence Directorate KP, police and prison departments.
Through extensive opportunities to work with national and international organizations in various capacities, I have honed my skills in planning, proposal writing, project implementation, monitoring and evaluation, human resource development, report writing, advocacy, and lobbying. These skills have become core components of my experience and competency.
Overview of Training and Development Background
Since 2010, I have been actively involved in all aspects of the flagship Active Citizens (AC's) programme offered by the British Council, Pakistan. This includes the Community Model, University Model, ILMPOSSIBLE Take A Child to School (TACS) programme, and Active Citizens Digital SAP campaign. Over the years I have contributed to the planning, delivery, oversight, and reporting of these programmes.
In addition to my extensive experience developing and delivering training sessions, workshops, consultations/conferences, and meetings in areas like Drug Demand Reduction (prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation), HIV/AIDS Prevention, and Human Rights Protection, I am also a Master Trainer of UNDOC in Universal Prevention Curriculum (UPC) courses. These courses include
Introduction to Prevention Sciences.
Physiology and Pharmacology for Prevention Specialists.
School-based Prevention Interventions.
Media-based Prevention Interventions.
I have successfully cascaded four eco-trainings on UPC 1, 5, and 8 to professionals working in the field.
In my capacity as a Individual Consultant engaged by UNDP, Pakistan, and UNODC, Pakistan, I delivered online Training of Trainers (ToT) on UPC 1, 5, and 8. During the COVID-19 crisis, I successfully conducted four online training sessions with university students on Digital Social Action Projects (DSAP) organized with the support of the British Council, Pakistan. I served as an Individual Consultant (IC) for UPC courses for UNODC from November to December 2020. Additionally, as an Individual Consultant with UNDP/UNDOC, I mentored and supervised a new pool of trainers for UPC courses 1, 2, 5, and 8 between February 2022 and July 2022. Additional I have also completed self led online Universal Treatment Curriculum (UTC) courses 1 and 8 recently, these course are mandatory for credentialing for UPC ICAP Prevention.
Trainer by passion, the training and development strengths extend beyond Drug Demand Reduction, HIV/AIDS Prevention, and Human Rights Protection. I also excel in areas such as alternatives to imprisonment, citizenship, leadership, mentoring, conflict management, team building, social and business entrepreneurship, community policing, and community development. I have considerable experience of designing and undertaking training programme based on Needs of participants including entrants, students, faculty, staff, and stakeholders from different walks of life.
Coordination and Linkages
I demonstrate strong communication and coordination skills, evident in my ability to successfully lead consortia of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) working for the protection and promotion of human rights in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP). In July 2018 elected as the focal person for the co-secretariat of PFDP, KP Chapter. This role entrusted me with the responsibility of leading the forum and undertaking all activities with stakeholders in the Criminal Justice System to bridge the gap between police and the community. This opportunity was given to me based on my performance and achievements as two times elected provincial coordinator of the Child Rights Movement (CRM), KP Chapter. CRM is a national coalition of over 150 civil society representatives, lawyers, media personnel and individuals working for the protection and promotion of child rights in Pakistan.
Sustainability and Suitability
Besides having sustained affiliation with AC's programme of British Council, Pakistan as trainer since 2010, very early years of inception of the programme in Pakistan and I am also pleased to be part of the first pool of trainers of UNODC/WHO for Universal Prevention Curriculum (UPC) in Pakistan by UNODC, Pakistan in 2018. These two International programmes not only depict my sustainability but also have incredibly influence on my personal and professional development over the years.
I believe with a long term diverse experience and affiliation of the sector, a strong grasp of training and development, organization development, hands on experience and understanding of working with donors, INGOs, GOs, NGOs and Corporate sectors working in health, education, social welfare and criminal justice system in different capacities, including project development and implementation, advocacy, management of grant process, monitoring and evaluation, reporting, human resource development and knowledge of their systems make me a suitable candidate for the position.
As Lead Human Resource Development Programme of the organization, I am responsible to carry out the following major activities:
· Analyze and identify training and development needs of employees across various departments/programmes and levels.
· Develop and implement HRD plans aligned with the organization's overall vision, mission and objectives.
· Identify and partner with internal and external stakeholders to create and deliver effective programmes for the staff members.
· Design and develop comprehensive HRD programmes for new and existing staff to address identified needs and target specific skills and knowledge.
· Develop or lead the process of material and resources to support programme delivery and ensure consistency and quality.
· Overall supervision of all matters related to HRD programmes including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
· Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of HRD programmes.

• Managing security clearance, aquiring NOCs for projects and signing MOU with stakeholders.
• Communication with Organization key contacts including donors and other stakeholders.
• Monitoring & evaluation of Projects and other activities.
• Donor reporting on the progress of the projects.
• Development of Concept Notes and Project Proposals.
• Monitoring and evaluation of ongoing projects and sharing the reports with all concerned authorities.
• Organizing and leading monthly, quarterly and bi-annual project progress review meetings.

Oversee the creation of high-quality content, including written copy, graphics and videos.
Manage media persons and content creators internal/external to ensure consistent brand messaging and quality.
Grow and engage our social media communities on Facebook, Instagram, and other platforms.
Track feedback and recommendations for user engagement and conversation.
Support videographers and editors to produce high-quality content, including short-form ads, explainer videos, and documentary-style narratives.
Develop and deliver presentations for internal and external audiences.
Build and maintain relationships with journalists and media outlets to ensure media coverage for our organization and its work.
Facilitate interviews and appearances for staff and guests (media, delegates, donors, etc.).
To ensure consistent brand messaging across all communication channels.
Develop and maintain brand guidelines and style guides.
Stay up-to-date on current branding trends and best practices.
As IC/ Mentor & Supervisor, UNODC Pakistan for Universal Prevention Curriculum carried out the following major activities:
• Mentoring & Supervision of ToT UPC 1: Introduction to Prevention Sciences.
• Mentoring & Supervision of ToT UPC 2: Physiology and Pharmacology for Prevention Specialist.
• Mentoring & Supervision ToT UPC 5: School based prevention interventions.
• Mentoring & Supervision of ToT UPC 8: Media based prevention interventions.
• Coordination with trainers for preparing agenda, planning of TOTs. Pre, post and follow up meetings of UPC’s with the trainers.
• Submitting training and mission reports of above mentioned ToTs as Mentor and Supervisor. This shall include feedback on quality of training and trainers with future’s recommendations.
As IC/ Master Trainer, UNODC Pakistan for Universal Prevention Curriculum carried out the following major activities:
• Facilitation of ToT UPC 5: School based prevention interventions.
• Facilitation of ToT UPC 8: Media based prevention interventions.
• Follow up, review courses, assignments, planning, preparing agenda and coordination on the above mentioned training with UNODC and other IC’s.
• Submitting training report of above mentioned ToTs.
As consultant/ Provincial Coordinator: successfully planned, implemented, supervised and coordinated the Integrated Biological and Behavioural Sureveilance (IBBS) among people in selected five prisons of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The survey was undertaken by Centre for Global Public Health (CFGP) with support of UNODC Pakistan. The role and scope of work also included effective and efficient communication with concerned stakeholders including Provincial Aids Control Programme (PACP), Prison Department, TB control Programme, Hepatitis prevention programme Khyber Pakthunkhwa.
As elected Provincial Coordinator CRM, KP carried out the following major activities:
· Coordination all activities of the platform at provincial level with the forum members.
· Coordination with national and other provincial chapters.
· Strengthen the forum by increasing membership of new members including NGOs and individual working on child rights.
· Expediting opportunities for the capacity building of forum members on child rights areas.
· Advocacy with GOs, INGOs and UN agencies for supporting the forum objectives.
· Media advocacy on child rights and legislations for children.
· Coordination and conduction monthly meetings of the forum.
· Maintaining database for child abuse incidents and coordination with concerned departments for necessary actions.
·Conducting annual election of the forum.
As M&E Officer carried out the following major activities:
• To assist manager PMER.
• Identifying, Analyzing, Evaluation and Reporting of project progress.
• Ensure all the official files and folders are maintained properly.
• Keeping and updating office inventory.
• Project need based indicator developing.
• Monitoring and Evaluation visits for different projects.
• Report writing on monitoring visits.
• Follow up of progress of different projects, analysis, reporting and feedback on it to concern authorities.

As Centre Assistant, in a project " HIV prevention, Harm Reduction and Treatment services for high risk Afghan Refugees (street-based drug users, youth, truckers and laborers) in Peshawar" funded by UNHCR carried out the following major activities:
• Ensure all the official documents/files are maintained properly.
• Ensuring the quality and quantity of the items purchased.
• Management of all the activities for the formal and informal meetings/gatherings etc.
• Maintaining the inventory of all the organizational assets.
• Do timely payments of all utility bills. Maintain proper and updated records of all the appointments and contracts signed.
As Field Administrator/Field Manager, in a project "Service Delivery Package for Injecting Drug Users/ Drug Users (IDU's/ DU's) in District Peshawar" funded by World Bank/ Provincial AIDS Control Program (PACP) carried out the following major activities:
• Ensure all the official documents/files are maintained properly.
• Ensure all the purchases made are according to the set procedures.
• Ensuring the quality and quantity of the items purchased.
• Management of all the activities for the formal and informal meetings/gatherings etc.
• Plan outreach activities as per project requirement with the outreach workers.
• Monitoring the outreach activities by visiting the street sites.
• Keeping check on outreach staff (attitude and behavior and know-how of the assigned duties).
• Co-ordinate between the Project Manager and the project outreach staff.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and biannual outreach activity reports and submission to Project Manager.
• Manage the crises situations faced by the outreach workers on the through advocacy to resolve the issues and to create an enabling environment for having access to the drug addicts and for service delivery
• Make decisions for structured issues.
• Do performance appraisal of the project staff on yearly basis.
As Database Administrator/Admin Officer, in a project "Service Delivery Package for Injecting Drug Users/ Drug User (IDU's/ DU's) in District Peshawar" funded by World Bank/ Provincial AIDS Control Program (PACP) carried out the following major activities:
• Maintaining manual records of the clients receiving services such as social, Medical BCC Services and etc. at the DIC or on the Streets.
• Maintaining the clients database update on regular basis according to registers, to make sure that the data can be utilize at any time according to the needs and with least amount of effort and time waste.
• Maintaining proper record of all the official files and documents in order and keeping them update from time to time.
• Maintaining proper and updated leave records of all the staff.
• Responsible for maintaining all the monthly reports with order and safety.
• Also ensuring the proper utilization of DOST vehicles and other assets.
• Supervise and guide proper inventory of all the organizational assets.
• Keeping a close check on the quality and quantity of the items purchased.
