Worked on a social enterprise that aimed to remodel Pakistan’s traditional items such as Khussa and Rallee. The goal was to upgrade them to contemporary standards of comfort and design, and manufacture them at an exportable quality.
The project also sought to create job opportunities for poor people in the rural areas by assisting them in improving the manufacturing process and providing online platforms for marketing and selling their items.
The project completed its prototyping phase, but was dropped because the team was unable to arrange the required funding, and also wanted to better equip themselves with the skills required to take the start-up further.
