Mr. Ariz works as a humanitarian worker and is very motivated, energetic, and results-oriented. He has more than ten years of experience implementing CMAM-nutrition, livelihood, Early recovery, cash-based transfer, and social safety net projects in different parts of the Sindh province of Pakistan.
He has earned a master's degree in sociology from Shah Abdul Latif University Sindh. Mr. Ariz has good knowledge of project coordination, stakeholder networking, ME, and Data collection in the field.
He has handled a few significant HR-based implementing partners and is a committed and enthusiastic team player. He applies his demonstrated skills in project cycle management, partner coaching, collaboration with the district administration and stakeholders, area ranking, planning, delegation management, networking, report writing, and user feedback mechanisms.
He possesses the managerial skills necessary to plan and carry out goal-oriented initiatives in a multitasking environment. He also could prioritize tasks well to accomplish goals creatively, adjust to shifting priorities, and keep a good attitude and a strong work ethic.
Mr. Ariz also carried out feasibility assessments, market-based studies, surveys on food and nutrition, and situation analysis assessments to address external threats and challenges to the project.
Act as district focal point for programme/M&E. liaise with with partners, government officials, UN agencies and stakeholders for sustainable partnership, coordination, strengthen integrate approach and focus on food and Nutrition situation analysis
Provide technical support to the project & Project teams to ensure the timely & quality implementation of activities Develop plans, implement project activities according to timeframe & allocated resources Provide training, coaching, on job training & workshop facilitation to field staff and planning, and basic financial education
Prepare weekly/monthly progress report and quarterly project critical analysis and Produce quarterly 4W matrix and incorporate all stakeholders project details to avoid overlapping of services
Programme and facilitate UN and Donor missions (UN-RC, USAID, ECHO, DFID, AID, WB, CIDA) i.e. prepare itinerary, site identification and site-brief, liaising with Security agencies, Delegation facilitation
Co-chair Food Security and Nutrition meetings and highlight food and nutrition issues, pipeline breaks, potential hazards, situation changes lead to humanitarian crises
Organize area ranking exercise in a year. Facilitate VAM unit in Mapping of extreme vulnerable areas
Supervise supply chain, warehouse management and Safe distributions of nutrition supplements and humanitarian foods
Organize project inception workshops, skill transfer/capacity building orientation/refreshers trainings for partner organizations/staff Facilitate CP management to prepare and execute operational plans and project interim and terminal reports. Review and verify the project operational plans, distribution plans, DDR and MDR Responsible to execute the complete phases (Assessment to closeout) of Emergency, Relief and recovery, Nutrition, Cash based intervention, CBDRM and School safety projects Act as focal point to Identify risk registers and programmatic issues and propose remedial action to track Project
Coordinate and monitor the implementation of the assistance programme at the local level, in close collaboration with the implementing partners and performe active monitoring of the FLAs Vis--vi's budgets at all Levels
Monitore and reviewe the overall commodity movements such as food deliveries, storage, transport and distribution at the site and verify if the amounts received have been properly recorded, damaged or suspected to be damaged.
Supervise the efficient distribution of food items at the site and ensure proper distribution of entitlements and verify appropriate entitlements are distributed and provide feedback to supervisor and others on the distribution.
Aassist programme unit in the conduct of regular meetings of community and implementing partners on the commodity pipeline, distribution arrangements, food entitlements and other relevant issues.
Organize and conduct Pre and post verification of the village wise assets and participants under CFW/CMAM Programme and verification of beneficiaries list.
Perform vverification of the physical existence and quality of assets developed, Data collection, random verification of class wise enrolment
Aassist in the implementation of the plan of work, review achievement and constraints and provide feedback accordingly.
Supervise and trained the CPs staff regarding food basket/Cash entitlement and distribution procedure and security on distribution.
Conduct assessment and follow-ups for Beneficiary Feedback complaints on time and fast, accurate and detailed reports on beneficiary complaints and uploaded Monitoring Checklists and CFW/CMAM implementation issues on System.
Coordinate implementation with partners to ensure sustained and continued visibility of WFP at all activity sites. Improve effectiveness, efficiency, and communication of the feedback desk mechanism. Sensitize and mobilize the public for use of WFP food items, sensitize public opinion on gender issues and gender focused activities
