Optical Network Planning, deployment and O&M Engineer:- Performing health checks and ensures that routines for corrective and preventive maintenance are timely and precisely done.- Project Management.- Hands on experience of NMS and Op-manager.- Preparation of ATP documents, Incident reports, project reports. - Perform route analysis & OSP Engineering design for various fiber optic network solutions, and prepare/submit High-Level Design (HLD) with corresponding Bill of Quantities (BOQ).- Testing of Optical Fiber Cable through OTDR, Power Meter, VFL. - Commissioning of Optical Fiber communication link.- Strong Coordination with all departments regarding O & M activities.- Hands on experience of SDH & DWDM.- FTTH, FTTX, FTTT and GPON (MA 5680T) Installation and configuration.- Network Maintenance & DWDM ring network Operation & Maintenance in Metro & Long Haul, GPON, FTTT & FTTH network.- Supervision & Survey/Route Planning of OSP works. - Proper solution designing of new customer with minimum cost.- Working with network build Engineers to ascertain fiber layout of backbone & distribution of GPON, FTTH and FTTS.- Preparation of BOQ (Bill of quantity) and Measurement Books.- Coordination with different Vendors.- Installation, configuration and commissioning of Media converters.- Coordination with different vendors and ROW agencies for procurement and acquisition of ROW.- Supervision of 3 technical teams.Services delivery:- Provide end-to-end support for Enterprise services in terms of implementation, day-to-day operations and, monitoring and reporting.- Preventive & corrective measures to meet network target KPIs.- Fault and performance management of the network.- Escalate with other network teams to resolve customer related issues within SLA.- Coordinate with different departments to ensure timely support & solution to enterprise customers.- Provides analysis and root cause diagnosis for customer-related issue for corrective maintenance.
