Workshop Equipment Engineer
- Oversee the operation, maintenance, and installation of fixed assets such as underfloor wheel lathe machine, underfloor lifting plant, stereoscopic warehouse, train automatic washing plant, mobile lifting jacks, and wheelset press fit machine.
- Led and directed a team of 02 master technicians and 17 skilled technicians to meet the maintenance and operation requirements of the Rolling Stock fixed asset systems. • Responsible for implementing the cutting standards of the passenger train wheelset at the Underfloor wheel lathe machine according to approved regulations to keep the train wheelset parameters within the standard range.
- Skilled in providing technical support and collaborating effectively with subsystems and engineering teams to investigate and resolve technical and operational issues.
- Skilled in overseeing change processes, from initiation to implementation, while maintaining thorough documentation and adherence to procedures.
- Innovated and updated SOPs, particularly in change management, to enhance efficiency, compliance, and adaptability to evolving operational needs.
- Experience in analyzing the equipment\\\'s electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults to conduct root cause analysis (RCA).
- Read blueprints, schematics and technical regulations to suggest optimized maintenance techniques.
Projects at Orange Line Metro Rail Transit System, Lahore, PK
1. Optimization of the Underfloor Lathe Machine operation to reduce the reprofiling time and update the current reprofiling standards
2. Upgradation of the radial reactions claws to reduce the reprofiling time and increase machine efficiency.
Design and Application Engineer
- Testing: Tested proximity sensors of both types PNP and NPN, Limit switches and Solenoids/ Spool Valves.- Panel Design: Designed SYNTEC PLC control panel with 2 Engineers and having hand on experience of panel wiring.- Troubleshooting: Resolved hardware troubleshooting and maintenance of different types of CNC machines.- Panel Drawings: Developed power drawings of different types of different types of CNC machines by hand.- Panel Wiring: Engineered connections of MCB, Contactors, Relays and VFD and connections of input and output cards of SYNTEC CNC control.- Servo Drive: Engineered Connections of Servo motors and drives and allocated separated path for M3 Link and other communication cables.- PLC Training: Successfully completed 5 days training on SIMATIC PLC Ladder Logic.
Assistant Production Engineer
- Responsible for day-to-day production and maintenance activities of the distribution transformers including core stacking, electrical coils, electrical connections, tanking and testing of distribution transformers to complete production targets on time.
- Experience in upgrading the distribution transformers of rating 25 KVA to 630 KVA by reducing the losses and increasing the efficiency of transformers.
- Experience in managing the daily production lifecycle and manufacturing of distribution transformers as per distribution companies\' requirements.
- Responsible for implementing 5 S strategies to provide an efficient, safe and organized workspace to increase productivity and equipment efficiency.
