My roles and responsibilities are;
Technical 

Integrate environment, climate friendly and energy efficient solution in all construction activities.      
Climate/disaster inclusion in Environmental impact assessment/initail environmental examination.
 Focuses on enhancing the climate resilience and green infrastrucutre.
Advise team on different Envrionmental and climatic related issues.

Coordination with different line departments and donors.

Compliance

Preparation and review of Environmental impact assessment, initital environmental examination, Site Specific Enviornmental mangement plan
Reviewally reports for client and donor submission.
Preparation of brief  and presenation for donors.
inclusion of climate related phenomenas in environmental impact assessment reports.
Ensure strict adherence to the client work permit procedures.
Take disciplinary action as per company procedure in case of violations.
Ensure Housekeeping is maintained at the project site
Ensuring Site specific Environmental Management Plan are well in place.

Capacity Building and Training

Delivering toolbox talk regarding Covid 19, Dengue and other environmental, climatic and health and safety issues.
Training of the project staff on different  climate/Environmental issues.
Develop educational materials and resources to promote awareness and understanding of climate adaptation practice.

Technical

 Review of concept notes for funding.
Advise and provide input on climate change adpation. 
Assess and analyse the current state of climate change impacts and disaster management efforts, emphasising the budgeting and expenditure process.
Oversee the design and implementation of budget and expenditure tagging specific to climate and disaster-related initiatives.
Develop strategies for a holistic government approach to address climate change and disaster risk reduction, ensuring coordination across various agencies.
Compile and present findings, recommendations, and progress reports to relevant stakeholders.
Implementation  climate action plan.
Develop a detailed plan to monitor, track and evaluate the progress of related activities, trainings,and project indicator.
Regularly visits the field and facilitates project activities.

Ensure  targets  are achievement with the budget allocated for it in a organize way..
Prepare a planned procurements in projects with the help of logistics team.

The duties/job Specification are/were as fellow:

Qualitative and quantitative analysis of ambient air, water quality and solid waste in the concern industrial estate.
Supervising visits of industrial estate for the implementation of NEQS and IEE/EIA regulations.
Reivew of regulation
Review of climate change policy and its imlementation.
Prepartion of concept papers.
Monitoring, field visits and collection of data regarding environmental issues in the industrial estate.
Sampling of effluents/emission of industrial waste as per sampling rules.
Monitoring of various public and private hospitals in light of waste management rules 2005.
Review of various IEE/EIA reports and comments on various developmental projects.
Preparation of concept papers in the field of air/water/solid waste and natural resources.
Attending high court and environmental protection tribunal in various cases regarding Environmental issues.
Attending meeting with district administration and other line departments regarding environmental issues

My responsibility includes

Water quality analysis and reporting
Technical feasibility and assessment for hand pump installation in three districts of the flood affected area.
Training of the village committee members on water quality issues.
The baseline assessments for water supply
Preparing of BOQS for hand pumps
Perform other work related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the PM
