Solid experience at operation, maintenance and deploying DWDM / OTN / ASON / SDH networks
Solid knowledge of high capacity and long distance transmission systems (DWDM / OTN)
Solid experience and excellent skill to analyze and resolve transport network failures (NG-SDH / DWDM / OTN)
Experience in optical fiber characterization analysis
Good understanding of AC & DC power, BB backup calculations and Planning.
Experience in protection systems for high capacity transmission networks (GMPLS / Control Plane in layers L0 and L1, Optical Switch Architectures - Colorless/Directionless/Contention less ROADM Networks).
Providing technical leadership and guidance during deployment activities, including in the areas of facility power, rack layout and cable management, physical equipment installation, network equipment configuration, testing and handoff for production traffic.Working cross-functionally with PMO team, network engineering to generate implementation plans including Method of Procedure (MOP) and Scope of Works (SOW).Calculate and document equipment power/space requirements and consumption for multiple PoP sites.
