The overall purpose of the project is to ensure the restoration of l water, sanitation and hygiene services in communities (which are safely managed, climate-resilient, shockresponsive) and institutions, benefiting 105,000 flood affected people (including men, women, boys, girls, elderly people and people with disability) in Rajanpur district of Punjab.
Key Roles:
To begin with baseline survey of target communities, and continue to monitor social change and new social information relevant to community empowerment.
To assess the needs and resources required for the sanitation and hygiene promotion in the target areas.
To identify stakeholders, potential leaders, influential, decision makers/opinion makers in the working area.
To motivate and encourage potential leaders to talk to their fellow community members about unity and self-reliance.
To initiate actions aimed at breaking down passivity, apathy and attitudes of letting others do things for themselves.
To conduct in Behavior, Change Communication Campaign (BCC Campaign) in light of Clean and Green, PATS+ guidelines.
To provide community leaders with management skills and knowledge (about CLTS and hygiene) in getting community members interested, organized and motivated.
Carry out field related project activities on prescribed formats
Maintaining good relations with communities, notables and local contact persons to involve them in programme activities and seek their support wherever required
Assist in developing a social mobilization strategy and spatial planning for QC Programme
Develop profile of the villages/area
Coordinate closely with the programme team for timely implementation of QC interventions
Undertake field visits, and surveys in order to deliver the programme

Key Roles:
Support the Technical Coordinator (Cooperatives) in implementing the A Farmer Cooperative organization program.
Program introduction and mobilization of target group (subsistence and semi-subsistence livestock keepers to organize their Farmers Milk Cooperatives (FMC) in allocated villages.
Identifying credible; energetic potential candidates with leadership qualities and prudent business acumen for holding the office of FMCs President, General Secretary, Treasurer and the Women Member etc.
Responsible for signing of Terms of Partnership between the project and the FMCs.
Systematically work on developing a coherent Organizational Vision, Mission and Values; and strategic direction in each FMC and ensure that they are shared by all FMC members.
Ensure that the FMC organizational management structure is established through a democratic process for appointment of the management team (FMC President, General Secretary, Treasurer and Women Member).
Responsible for ensuring that all capacity building activities are carried out in their respective FMCs according to the agreed time schedule in areas of FMC management (organizational management, leadership, team building, finance management, marketing, business cycle
Management, etc.), livestock (fodder and extension, breeding, etc.), family nutrition and gender empowerment through specialized partners and/or project staff.
Responsible for the ensuring that FMC organizational management policies, processes and systems are in place that are transparent with highest levels of accountability especially in financial management, human resource management, material and equipment management and assets tracking etc.
If necessary, during the project lifetime, r responsible for assisting FMCs in registering with relevant Government agencies under appropriate regulations/law.
Ensure that their respective FMCs is accessing all programs activities and services e.g breeding, animal health, management and feeding & forage.
Improving Women and children Health & nutritional intake and Goat distribution to poor women etc.
Mobilize communities and ensure that the Sehat committees are inclusive of marginalized segments of population including women, minorities, and persons with disability etc.
Ensure that FMCs are generating membership fee and maintaining records of all formal proceedings, and individual records of each of its members.
Continuously monitor and carry out gap assessment of each FMC to assess any weaknesses in order to identify and alert to the Technical Coordinator the constraints for growth so that corrective action can be planned and undertaken.
