Prevalence of Neck Pain and its associated factors among Tailors

This research was conducted on a neglected population i.e tailor, concerning about their major issue of neck pain. Prevalence of neck pain is found to be high among tailors. Data was collected from 193 tailors including male and female workers. The data was collected on the basis of inclusion and exclusion criteria. After taking permission from the head of Company , consent form was filled by the tailors. Those who don’t want to be the part of study were excluded initially, also the workers having some systematic issues were excluded. The quantitative and statistical work was done by using SPSS version 20. Results were obtained in graphical and tabulation form for quick and easy understanding. Association was found between severity of pain and age using Chi-Square. The value was less than 0.05 which shows strong association between the two factors. While the absentee from work is less shows that besides the pain workers were still working.
