Quality Control Inspector

Inspection of components incoming supplies from Vendors ( Axle Housing -MF-240/385, Hydraulic lift cover, Front Axle Support MF-240/350/385, Differential Carrier Plate MF385, Bearing Caps, Lub Oil Sump MF-240/385, Thimble, Drain Plug, Cylinder Liner MF-240/385).
Visit to Vendors to verify inspection facilities at vendors premises and resolve the issues regarding incoming components.
Study component CMM reports and liaise with vendors & manufacturing division for taking corrective action where necessary.
Verify calibration of gauges as per schedule.
Visit Engine & Tractor Assembly Plant for getting feedback on the performance of components.
Dimensional Marking of Tractor casting Parts e.g. Transmission case, Centre Housing, Cylinder Block, Cylinder Head, Axle Housing MF-385, Axle Housing MF-240, Hydraulic lift cover, Lub Oil Sump MF-240, Lub Oil Sump MF-385.
Approves in-process production by confirming specifications conducting visual and measurement tests communicating required adjustments to production supervisor.
Approves finished products by confirming specifications conducting visual and measurement tests returning products for re-work confirming re-work.
Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs summarizing re-work and waste inputting data into quality database.
Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions calling for repairs.
