You will be responsible for leading the design and development of mechanical systems and equipment for our process plants. You will play a key role in preparing 3D models of process skid packages, designing piping systems, and generating 2D drawings using industry-leading software. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your expertise in mechanical design and contribute to the success of our innovative projects in the energy sector.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare detailed 3D models of process skid packages and equipment using software such as AutoCAD, Plant 3D, or CADWorx.
• Design piping systems for process plants, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
• Generate accurate 2D drawings, including piping layouts, isometric drawings, and fabrication drawings, to support manufacturing and construction activities.
• Able to prepare the detailed piping isometric drawing with the bill of material.
• Prepare the detailed fabrication drawing of equipment such as separator, distillation column, heat exchanger, etc.
• Able to perform the study on the material selection of the processes and study on the corrosion.
• Able to prepare the documentation and report on the Pressure vessel design calculations via PV Elite.
• Able to conduct the piping stress analysis on the process package or plant to design the piping support accordingly.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including process engineers, electrical engineers, and project managers, to develop integrated design solutions.
• Conduct design reviews, perform calculations, and analyze technical data to ensure the integrity, reliability, and performance of mechanical systems.
• Support procurement activities by preparing technical specifications, reviewing vendor proposals, and evaluating equipment suppliers.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and drafters to support their professional development.
