We are seeking a qualified and experienced legal practitioner for the following position:

Experience:

Minimum 5 years of experience as a legal practitioner
At least 3 years of experience in coordinating with prisons, legal aid lawyers, and criminal justice stakeholders.

Technical Skills:

Experience developing case studies, video clips, and recording interviews of UTPs (Under-Trial Prisoners).
Strong understanding of court processes and legal aid.
Knowledge of the UNODC mandate; prior experience working with the organization is an advantage.

Additional Skills:

Capacity to review legal documents, conduct independent studies, and assess issues.
Strong facilitation skills for consultations with government counterparts and development partners.
Excellent verbal and written communication in local languages and English.
Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Capable of handling pressure and meeting deadlines.
