- Lead the internal audit function and develop an annual audit plan based on risk assessments, conduct financial, operational, and compliance audits to ensure the company’s processes are effective and compliant with regulations.
- Assess and evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, reporting any deficiencies and making recommendations for improvements.
- Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory bodies as needed.
- Provide reports and insights on audit findings to the senior management team.
- Monitor the implementation of corrective actions based on audit recommendations.
- Identify operational risks and work with various departments to mitigate these risks. Stay updated with industry best practices, audit frameworks, and regulatory changes.
