Order Taker

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Order Taker to join our sales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately taking and processing customer orders, ensuring timely and efficient order fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Order Taking: Take customer orders via phone, email, or in-person, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

2. Order Processing: Process customer orders, including entering orders into the system, verifying product availability, and handling order-related issues.

3. Customer Communication: Communicate with customers to confirm orders, provide updates, and resolve any issues.

4. Order Tracking: Track orders and ensure timely fulfillment, escalating any issues to the relevant teams.

5. Data Entry: Accurately enter order information into the system, maintaining data integrity.

Requirements:

1. High school diploma: High school diploma or equivalent required.

2. Minimum 1-2 years of experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in order taking, customer service, or a related field.

3. Excellent communication skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with customers and internal teams.

4. Attention to detail: Strong attention to detail, with the ability to accurately process orders and maintain data integrity.

5. Organizational skills: Good organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple orders.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience with order management systems: Experience with order management systems, such as ERP or CRM software.
