Cameraman / Video Editor

SIF is seeking a skilled Cameraman/Video Editor (Communication Assistant) to join our team at our Quetta office. The successful candidate will be responsible for camera, editing videos, producing documentaries, shorts, ads, and assisting in various media-related tasks. The ideal candidate should have excellent video editing skills, creativity, and attention to detail.

General Objectives:

Take eye-catching pictures and produce videos, footage, and edit them
Edit videos, documentaries, shorts, and ads for various projects and campaigns
Create stories for projects
Assist in scriptwriting, storyboarding, and concept development
Collaborate with the communication team to develop media content
Ensure high-quality video production, meeting deadlines and specifications
Manage video archives, maintain organized files, and update databases
Assist in media-related tasks, such as photography and graphic design
Fulfill any assigned task whenever required by supervisor
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and techniques

Knowledge and Skills:

Experience in documentary filmmaking or media development
Knowledge of graphic design and animation
Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation
Knows use of DSLR, Mirrorless
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator
Excellent storytelling, visual, and audio skills
Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management
Knowledge of local culture
Ability to obtain written consent before video/photography
Ability to work under pressure, meeting deadlines
Fluency in English, Urdu, and local language (written and spoken)

Working Hours and Salary:

This is a full-time position with 40 working hours per week. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Salary will be paid according to the SIF salary grid.
