Storekeeping Assistant

SIF is currently seeking a reliable and organized Store Keeping Assistant in Quetta to manage our store, ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and issuance of Vegetable, Fruits, and Grocery items to the kitchen team on a daily basis

General Objectives:

Receive and inspect deliveries of Vegetable, Fruits, and Grocery items, ensuring quality and quantity accuracy.
Store items in designated areas, maintaining a clean and organized store.
Manage inventory levels, tracking stock levels and alerting the procurement team when items need to be reordered.
Issue items to the kitchen team as per their requirements, maintaining accurate records.
Maintain a FIFO & LIFO methodologies to ensure freshness and minimize waste.
Ensure weekly stores spot checks and monitor expiration dates and ensure timely disposal of expired or spoiled items.
Maintain accurate records of receipts, issues, and stock levels.
Collaborate with the procurement team to resolve any discrepancies or issues with deliveries.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and hygienic store environment.
Perform regular inventory audits and report any discrepancies to management.
Develop and implement processes to improve store efficiency and reduce waste.
Develop and maintain weekly and monthly store inventory reporting mechanism for the management.

Knowledge and Skills:

Good computer skills; Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Effective under pressure, results oriented and proactive with the ability to multi-task.
Good Interpersonal communication, negotiating and analytical skills.
Ability to organize work schedule on regular basis and flexibility; discrete and respectful to confidentiality.
Good Team player and motivated to work in remote and uncertain environment respecting standard operating procedures as devised and instructed.

Working Hours and Salary:

This is a full-time position with 40 working hours per week. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Salary will be paid according to the SIF salary grid.
