Sharksfluence is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Research Specialist to join our growing influencer marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, researching, and analyzing influencers across various platforms, ensuring they align with our brand and campaign goals. This role is key to the success of our campaigns, as you’ll be identifying individuals who can authentically connect with our target audience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and discover relevant influencers on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube who align with our client's brand goals and values.
  • Maintain and update a detailed influencer database using Google Sheets, tracking key metrics such as follower count, engagement rate, and past collaborations.
  • Assist the influencer marketing manager in reaching out to influencers.
  • Stay updated on current trends, emerging influencers, and competitor campaigns in the influencer marketing space.
  • Provide regular reports on influencer campaign progress, and potential areas for improvement.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Google Sheets: Ability to manage and analyze large datasets, track influencer details, and update metrics regularly.
  • Familiarity with Social Media Platforms: Deep understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube functionalities, trends, and influencer content.
  • Basic Knowledge of Influencer Marketing: A solid grasp of how influencer marketing works.
  • Strong Research Skills: Ability to effectively find influencers that fit specific brand guidelines and target demographics.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to meticulously track influencer performance metrics and campaign details.
  • Ability to Work in a Team: Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure influencer partnerships are aligned with the broader campaign goals.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Influencer Marketing Platforms (such as Upfluence, AspireIQ, or similar tools) is a plus but not required.
  • Previous experience in social media management or influencer marketing campaigns.
  • Knowledge of emerging social media trends and the influencer landscape.
