We are seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to help us build, maintain, and streamline our infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AWS services, infrastructure automation, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), and a passion for improving system reliability and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage scalable, reliable, and secure AWS infrastructure.
- Automate infrastructure deployment, configuration, and monitoring using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable code deployment.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure applications are designed and built to be cloud-native.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to improve reliability and performance.
- Ensure security best practices are followed and implement necessary security measures.
- Optimize cloud costs and resource utilization.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of the infrastructure and processes.
- Stay current with AWS updates, best practices, and industry trends.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an AWS DevOps Engineer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, CloudWatch, and others.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or AWS CodePipeline.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch, ELK stack, Prometheus).
- Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
- Experience with other cloud platforms such as GCP or Azure.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps culture.
