Job Overview:

As Supplier Acquisition Executive, you will be responsible for contacting suppliers mainly the international market and negotiating prices and SOPs for the given products. You will be coordinating with multiple teams in this process and will ensure that the product completes its purchase cycle.

  • Reaching out to suppliers globally to obtain particular products at predetermined prices.
  • Negotiating with suppliers to obtain competitive pricing and formal quotations to finalize agreements.
  • Establishing and nurturing preferred relationships with suppliers to foster long-term partnerships and leverage mutual benefits.
  • Securing various authorizations from suppliers, such as distribution, brand, and category authorizations, as required.
  • Monitoring and re-engaging with suppliers who become unresponsive during the procurement process.
  • Ensuring timely issuance of purchase orders to selected or shortlisted suppliers.
  • Responsible for completing documentation for wholesale accounts, maintaining records, and facilitating account setup through regular follow-ups with suppliers via email and phone calls.
  • Obtaining product files (CSV or PDF) and price quotes from multiple suppliers.
  • Coordinating with internal departments to ensure seamless collaboration and output alignment with selected suppliers.
  • Consistently striving to achieve assigned targets and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
  • Performing any additional tasks as required by management or specific project needs.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • Excellent communication & negotiation skills.
  • Excellent relation building and management skills (Experience in this area is preferable).
  • Persistence and determination to follow up and secure the deal.
  • Good research skills.
  • Candidates with a background in Amazon FBA wholesale will be preferred (experience 6 months to 1 year).
  • Capability to build long term relationships (CSR and Sales background is preferred).
  • Adaptive to a constantly changing environment.
  • Growth mindset and blocker/problem-solving.
