The Territory Sales Manager will be working in a dynamic business environment; he/she will be responsible for delivering the expected sales revenue of the allocated Area and will ensure the distributors are generating the appropriate profit margin as per the promise to deliver their ROIs.

Developing new B2B partnerships are critical for this role. Negotiating with operators / F&B on the brands/solutions and consistently ensuring OTIF customer service, launches, and re-launches are done as per the selling story and the appropriate operators is a key accountability of this position.

The ideal candidate will possess a demonstrated ability to lead Teams, inspire & motivate towards delivering high-performance standards, with the ability to proactively drive differentiated actions to win in the marketplace by winning operators and customers. Some of the key areas of responsibility are as follows:

Key Responsibilities:

  • TSM is responsible for the revenue targets for the month in terms of primary sales in the responsible Territory/Distributor/Area/Operator/Channel.
  • TSM should be action-oriented and scan the market for volume-based opportunities to pitch our products to gain FS market share.
  • Ensuring strict adhering to the budget and budget management and effective utilization to enhance the business opportunities/counter competition/ trade relationship.
  • Delivering a repeatable success model of initiating, engaging, showcasing/demoing, and negotiating to achieve operator conversion is a must.
  • Developing Public Relationships with the operator.
  • TSM is responsible for ensuring the right resources are deployed to the operation by the distributor and they are well-trained and equipped to perform the responsibilities.
  • Ensure the right investment is in place by the distributor in terms of stock coverage and weighted credit.
  • Ensure the distributor’s profitability is in line with the promise.
  • Ensure storage/cold chain compliance are maintained at the distributor as well as in redistribution rounds.
  • Monthly / Quarterly Review: responsible for formal review of actions implemented and ensuring right corrective initiatives are taken on a quarterly basis with the distributor.
