Chef

We are seeking a creative and experienced Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, a deep understanding of sandwich-making, and the ability to create other diverse dishes. You will be responsible for preparing and presenting food that meets our high standards of quality and taste.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook a wide variety of sandwiches and other menu items.
Develop new recipes and refine existing ones to enhance our menu.
Ensure all food is prepared to the highest standards of taste and presentation.
Oversee kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment.
Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels.
Train and mentor kitchen staff as needed.
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
Work closely with the management team to create seasonal menus and special dishes.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Chef, preferably in a restaurant specializing in sandwiches or casual dining.
Strong knowledge of various cooking techniques and ingredients.
Creativity and a passion for developing new recipes.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Understanding of food safety practices and kitchen hygiene.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus.
