Role Overview:
- Facilitate a Montessori-based learning environment.
Curriculum Planning and Implementation:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans.
- Utilize Montessori materials to enhance learning experiences.
Classroom Management:
- Foster a positive and respectful classroom atmosphere.
- Promote independence and self-directed learning.
Individualized Instruction:
- Recognize and address individual learning needs.
- Provide guidance and support for student development.
Observation and Assessment:
- Regularly observe and assess student progress.
- Use assessments to inform instructional strategies.
Professional Development:
- Stay informed about Montessori philosophy and teaching methods.
- Participate in professional development opportunities.
Collaboration:
- Attend staff meetings and contribute to the school community.
Classroom Environment:
- Create and maintain a well-organized, stimulating learning environment.
- Ensure safety and cleanliness within the classroom.
Continued Learning Support:
- Provide additional support and resources for students as needed.
- Foster a love of learning and curiosity in each child.
Professional Ethics:
- Adhere to professional and ethical standards in teaching.
- Uphold the values and principles of the Montessori approach.
