DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:.

  • The Data Entry Operator will be responsible for entering and updating accurate data into the company’s databases, ensuring that all information is correct and up-to-date. The role requires a high level of attention to detail, speed, and accuracy, as well as the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Data Entry:
      • Accurately enter data into the company’s databases or systems.
      • Verify data for accuracy and completeness.
      • Update existing data and correct any inaccuracies.
    2. Data Management:
      • Maintain and manage data records in an organized manner.
      • Regularly back up data to ensure no loss of information.
      • Assist in the retrieval of information as required.
    3. Data Verification:
      • Cross-check data from various sources to ensure consistency.
      • Review and verify data entry for discrepancies.
      • Report any errors or inconsistencies to the Line Manager.
    4. Reporting:
      • Generate reports as needed from the data management system.
      • Provide summaries and insights based on the entered data.
      • Assist in preparing data for presentations or meetings.
    5. Quality Control:
      • Maintain a high level of accuracy in all data entry tasks.
      • Conduct regular checks to ensure the integrity of the data.
      • Follow data entry procedures and guidelines to ensure uniformity.
    6. Confidentiality:
      • Handle sensitive information in a confidential and secure manner.
      • Comply with company policies regarding data protection and privacy.

    Qualifications:

    • Education: B. Com or High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Experience:
      • Previous experience as a Data Entry Operator or in a similar role is preferred.
      • Proficiency in using data entry software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, database management systems).
    • Skills:
      • Excellent typing speed and accuracy.
      • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
      • Good communication skills.
      • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
