Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with 2 to 3 years of experience in accounting and financial management. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Commerce and possess hands-on experience with ERP systems. This role is critical in ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective budget management, and compliance with accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure timely closing of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Accounts Payable & Receivable:
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
General Ledger Management:
- Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly journal entries and accruals.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Monitor budgetary performance and provide variance analysis.
ERP System Utilization:
- Utilize ERP software for financial management, reporting, and analysis.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy within the ERP system.
Financial Analysis:
- Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making and identify areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce or a related field.
- 2 to 3 years of accounting experience.
- Proficiency in using ERP systems for accounting and financial management.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Experience in a similar industry or sector.
- Advanced Excel skills or experience with financial modeling.
