AGP Limited is seeking an experienced Senior Manager for Capability Development to lead and enhance our training and development initiatives within the pharmaceutical sector. This role requires a strategic thinker and dynamic leader who possesses a strong background in change management and stakeholder engagement. The Senior Manager will manage a team of eight professionals dedicated to equipping our field force with the necessary skills and expertise for sales excellence and effective communication. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to fostering an environment of continuous learning and development, ensuring our teams are well-prepared to meet the evolving demands of the industry. This position demands exceptional communication skills, along with proficiency in project management and therapeutic area expertise to drive impactful training strategies that are aligned with organizational goals.
Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of eight professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement in capability development.
  • Design and implement effective learning and development programs that cater to the specific needs of the sales force, ensuring they have the knowledge and skills required to drive business success.
  • Utilize change management principles to navigate and manage the dynamics of learning initiatives, ensuring buy-in from relevant stakeholders and minimizing resistance.
  • Engage with various stakeholders, including senior management and sales teams, to identify training needs and develop tailored programs that enhance performance and meet business objectives.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and industry experts to source best-in-class training materials and methodologies that align with our strategic goals.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through key performance indicators, making data-driven adjustments to optimize outcomes.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions that promote key sales skills, product knowledge, and therapeutic area expertise among the field force.
  • Promote and implement a coaching culture within the team, providing ongoing feedback and support to develop individual team members skills and career progression.
  • Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and advancements to ensure our training programs remain relevant and impactful in the pharmaceutical landscape.
  • Prepare and present reports to senior leadership on the status of capability development initiatives, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.
