We are seeking a creative and proactive Social Media Marketing Intern to join our team. You will work closely with our marketing team to create and implement engaging content across various social media platforms to enhance our online presence and support our marketing campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Contributing to and influencing the direction of social media strategy
- Managing the company’s social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Snapchat, TikTok, YouTube) and posting content.
- Create, maintain, and implement digital marketing and editorial calendars
- Creating creative ideas fro written pieces that are sharp, memorable, and effective at prompting readers to take action.
- Scheduling copy for release at optimal times and optimising content for publication across various social media sites
- Promoting content on social media and engaging with our social media audience.
- Assisting in implementing plans to increase followers on popular social media websites
- Overseeing the management of all digital channels (including updates, design, and user experience)
- Analyzing and reporting on the effects of publications, search performance, and competitor campaigns
- Analyze social media metrics and report on the performance of campaigns.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices and technologies.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align social media content with our overall marketing strategy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong interest in social media platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative mindset and ability to generate new ideas.
- Basic understanding of digital marketing principles.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous experience in social media marketing or content creation is a plus.
