Position: Intern Mechanical Design & Development Engineer

Department Mechanical Engineering

Reports to: HOD

Location: Karachi

Prime Function:To assist in the smooth and efficient running of the production, develop drawings & provide support to all those team members who need.

Required Skills:

Problem-solving
High proficiency in SolidWorks or any other CAD software
Capacity to use basic business software (such as Excel) and ERP
Demonstrate initiative in solving challenging problems

Required Qualifications:

4 Years Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from a reputable

University

Technical knowledge in engineering systems and calculations, applications of engineering methods, material properties

Required Experience:

Any personal experience in relevant field is appreciated
Experience in developing 3D models and 2D drawings
Experience with sheet metal work is a plus

Roles & Responsibilities:

Assist in the Design and Development of new products methodically (product specifications, material selection, CAD design, detailed product drawings)
Document designs for product support and efficient development of successive product generations
To be able to quickly get up to speed with emerging technical requirements of the production and the design departments
Product Optimization of Existing Portfolio
Perform Finite Element Analysis
Coordination with relevant internal and external stakeholders
Assist in Developing and Maintaining Quality Control Checks in existing
