We are seeking an experienced and skilled Purchaser Toys to lead our regional toy purchasing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing toy purchasing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring that our toy products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and Implement Purchasing Strategies: Develop and implement toy purchasing strategies that align with our business objectives and customer needs.

2. Manage Supplier Relationships: Manage relationships with toy suppliers, including negotiations, contract management, and performance monitoring.

3. Conduct Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and threats in the toy market.

4. Product Sourcing and Development: Source and develop new toy products that meet our quality, safety, and customer satisfaction standards.

5. Quality Control and Assurance: Ensure that all toy products meet our quality and safety standards, including compliance with relevant regulations and laws.

6. Inventory Management: Manage toy inventory levels, including forecasting, ordering, and stocking.

7. Budgeting and Cost Control: Manage toy purchasing budgets and ensure that costs are controlled and optimized.

8. Team Management: Lead and manage a team of toy purchasers, including recruitment, training, and performance management.

9. Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and logistics, to ensure that toy purchasing strategies align with business objectives.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Business, Purchasing, or Related Field

2. 5+ Years of Experience in Toy Purchasing: At least 5 years of experience in toy purchasing

3. Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.

4. Knowledge of toy industry trends, regulations, and laws, including safety and quality standards.

5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends, and optimize purchasing strategies.

Nice to Have:

1. Experience with ERP Systems: Experience with ERP systems, including purchasing and inventory management modules.

2. Knowledge of Data Analytics Tools: Knowledge of data analytics tools, including data visualization and business intelligence software.
