Debt Collector

We are seeking experienced US Debt Collectors to join our growing team and handle a USA Debt Collections campaign. This challenging role requires exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. As a Debt Collector, you will be contacting individuals with outstanding debts, negotiating payment plans, and resolving any disputes or concerns to help recover owed funds.

This is not a customer service or sales role; it is hardcore debt collection. You will need to be professional, adaptable, and sometimes firm depending on the situation. The goal is to recover debts from individuals who may be avoiding payment. Your performance will be rewarded with lucrative commissions on top of your base pay, depending on how much you collect.

Key Responsibilities:

Contact individuals with outstanding debts via phone calls, emails, or letters.
Negotiate payment terms and establish viable payment plans.
Address and resolve concerns or issues with debtors.
Use strong communication skills to influence and persuade debtors to make payments.
Record and maintain accurate documentation of all collections activities.
Work within the regulations set by FDCPA, Reg F, HIPAA, and TCPA.
Handle difficult conversations professionally, balancing firmness with empathy.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet or exceed collection targets.
Continuously strive to improve performance through feedback and ongoing learning.

Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience in debt collection, particularly in the USA market.
Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.
Exceptional verbal communication skills.
Ability to handle difficult conversations with sensitivity and professionalism.
Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Empathy and the ability to build relationships with debtors.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
Knowledge of FDCPA, Reg F, HIPAA, and TCPA regulations.
Experience using debt collection software and tools.
