Security Guard

The primary responsibility of a Security Guard is to deter, detect, and respond to security threats, maintain a safe environment, and enforce rules and regulations. To perform duty regarding security.

Duties and responsibilities

Monitor entrances and exits, verify identification, and control the flow of people and vehicles entering or leaving the premises.
Conduct regular patrols of the assigned area to detect suspicious activities, security breaches, or safety hazards.
Respond promptly and appropriately to emergency situations such as fire alarms, medical emergencies, or security incidents. Take necessary actions to mitigate risks, provide first aid if required, and report incidents to the appropriate authorities.
Utilize security systems, such as CCTV cameras, alarms, and access control systems, to monitor and identify potential security threats or breaches. Report any unusual or suspicious activities to the designated authorities.
Prepare detailed reports on security incidents, daily activities, and any irregularities observed during shifts. Maintain accurate records of incidents, occurrences, and any actions taken.
Cooperate with law enforcement agencies, emergency services, and other security personnel during investigations, emergencies, or special events.
Stay updated on security protocols and emergency procedures. Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge required for the role.
Any other relevant task assigned by the Line Manager.

Qualifications

Matric or above
Ability to remain calm and make quick decisions during high-stress situations.
Familiarity with security systems and equipment (CCTV, access control, alarms).
Knowledge of local laws and regulations pertaining to security operations.
2-4 years of experience in security, law enforcement, or military.
Army Retired Personnel will be given preference
Age must not be exceeding 45 years
