Responsible for overseeing industrial relations, employee engagement, security, and administrative functions. Develop and implement strategies for positive labor relations, ensure legal compliance, and manage administrative processes for a smooth workplace.
Industrial Relations:
- Third party labour contractor management.
- Develop and implement strategies for positive relationships.
- Address workplace disputes, ensuring legal compliance.
- Collaborate with unions for agreements and issue resolution.
Administration:
- Oversee day-to-day functions and manage staff.
- Develop and maintain policies, ensuring compliance.
- Ensure a safe workplace and manage facilities.
Compliance and Legal:
- Stay informed on labor laws for organizational compliance.
- Work with legal counsel on employment issues.
- Manage investigations into workplace violations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, LLB, or a related field.
- Proven experience in industrial relations, employee engagement, and administration.
- In-depth knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and collective bargaining processes.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Experience:
Minimum of 16 years + of progressive experience in human resources, with a focus on industrial relations and administration, including at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role.
