This position is responsible for assisting Unit Head Operational Risk Management in establishing and maintaining a robust operational risk culture in the bank by designing and implementing a comprehensive Operational Risk policy and Operational Risk Management (ORM) framework in the light of Basel II and the SBP guidelines. The position incumbent is also responsible for identifying, assessing, analyzing and mitigating operational risk of the bank along with collecting, mapping, analyzing and reporting of loss data. The position incumbent is responsible for facilitating in ORM by assisting business units and support departments (divisions, regions and branches) in managing various operational risks embedded in respective day-to-day work in the bank and to ensure development and regular performance of operational risk stress tests on periodic basis. Further the senior risk analyst will be responsible for implementation of the control testing and monitoring framework.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Implementation of Operational Risk Management frame work.
- Maintenance of Risk Register.
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of Operation Loss Database.
- Monitoring of Operational Risk through KRI’s and Control Testing.
- Bank’s Policies and Procedures should be aligned.
