Inventory Controller

The Inventory Controller is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records in software, ensuring purchase requisitions/Purchase Orders/Goods Receiving and vendor billing, and assisting with the efficient management of stock within the storage facility. This role involves regular entries and updating proper documentation, and supervision of store staff.

The job details are:

Inventory Management:

Generate requests, issue purchase orders, supervise goods inwards and supervise store activities.
Organize and check store stock.
Ensure stock levels are maintained to meet business needs.
Monitor inventory levels and notify management of low stock or discrepancies.

Record Keeping:

Maintain accurate records of inventory movements using inventory management software.
Conduct regular stock counts and reconciliations.
Prepare and submit inventory reports to management.

Education & Experience:

Bachelors in Supply Chain or equivalent; additional certification in logistics, inventory management, or related field is a plus.
Proven experience as an inventory stock keeper, warehouse manager, or similar role.
Experience with inventory management software and systems.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
