Position Overview:
As a Business Development Specialist, you will excel in both data-driven cold calling/outreach and utilizing online platforms like LinkedIn / Upwork for business development. This role demands a unique blend of direct client engagement and online business development skills, with a crucial requirement for fluency in English, both verbal and written, for effective communication in our diverse, global market.
Key Responsibilities:
● Lead business development initiatives through strategic, data-driven cold calling and outreach.
● Utilize online platforms such as Upwork and LinkedIn & Apollo to identify, bid on, and secure business opportunities in digital marketing and custom software solutions.
● Craft compelling, client-centric proposals focused on addressing pain points using data-driven insights, and ensure timely, effective submissions.
● Analyse client requirements to provide accurate bidding strategies and project cost estimations.
● Conduct Online meetings with clients to discuss needs, present tailored solutions, and drive the sales process.
● Build and maintain a robust pipeline of business opportunities, balancing direct client engagement with online platform utilization.
● Engage consistently in business development activities, converting leads into long-term partnerships and ensuring the highest levels of client satisfaction.
● Achieve or exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs, contributing significantly to the company's growth and success.
Skills and Qualifications:
● Demonstrated proficiency in business development, including cold calling, direct outreach, and using online platforms like Upwork and LinkedIn + Sales Navigator / Apollo
● Previous experience working at a Software house / Digital Agency in a Business Development capacity.
● Strong proposal writing skills, focusing on addressing client pain points with data-driven insights.
● Solid understanding of business development processes, sales strategies, and online marketplaces.
● Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with mandatory fluency in English for global client engagement.
Requirements:
● Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
● Minimum 3 years of experience in business development, with a focus on digital marketing and custom software solutions.
● Flexibility to work in different time zones as required and meet deadlines.
● Proven ability to meet and exceed business targets.
● Experience working with a CRM
● Proven Track Record of Success Developing New Accounts
