Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Accountant to join our Lahore office. As an integral member of our finance local and oversea team, you will play a key role in managing daily accounting tasks, ensuring financial accuracy and maintaining compliance with accounting standards.

Accounts Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

Manage daily accounting tasks, including journal entries, ledgers, and account reconciliations.
Process invoices, payments, and maintain accounts payable/receivable ledgers.
Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
Create month-end accounting entries and reconcile discrepancies with the general ledger.
Ensure timely closing of monthly and yearly financial statements.
Prepare financial reports, summaries, and analyze variances.
Assist in tax preparation and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
Assist the Financial Manager and other team members to successfully execute various accounting tasks.
Perform other duties as assigned to meet organizational needs.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Finance, ACCA
3 to 5 years of experience preferable with an international english company in accounting or finance roles, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Capability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
Ability to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality.
Strong English communication skills for effective teamwork and reporting.
Accounting / Finance experience working for Overseas English Company is a big advantage
Experience working with Sage Accounting Software would be a distinct advantage in applying for this role.
Knowledge of U.K VAT and taxation would be an advantage
