Sr DevOps Engineer

Big Immersive is seeking a motivated and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to enhance our development and operational practices. The ideal candidate has at least five years of professional experience in DevOps and is well-versed in Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and cloud platforms, particularly GCP. Although this role does not involve managing a team, excellent communication skills are essential for collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams to streamline operations and improve our services. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in implementing and maintaining our infrastructure and deployment pipelines, ensuring that our products are continuously delivered to meet the high standards expected by our customers. Your expertise will contribute significantly to the stability and scalability of our systems, allowing us to innovate rapidly while maintaining a robust environment.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment of applications.
Leverage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools to provision and manage cloud infrastructure efficiently.
Collaborate with development teams to refine deployment processes and ensure seamless integration into existing workflows.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues, ensuring high availability and reliability of services.
Investigate and resolve incidents, performing root cause analysis to prevent future occurrences.
Establish and maintain deployment best practices, ensuring compliance with industry standards and organizational policies.
Assist in the selection and implementation of new tools and technologies to enhance the development lifecycle.
Train and support team members on DevOps best practices and tools, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates on project progress and challenges.
Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously enhance skills and team capabilities.
