Reports to: Senior Project Officer

Job Purpose: BJPO will develop marketing plans of community products and job placement in private sector. BJPO will explore employment opportunities and develop markets for micro and small businesses to enhance HH income and sales.

 Key Accountabilities:

  • The job holder is accountable for fulfilling his / her roles and responsibilities in line with organizational values and principles of fairness, humanity, honesty, respect and fair treatment of his/her colleagues and team members.
  • The following are the main responsibilities that the role holder will be accountable for:
  • To develop a Trainees Cohorts database for job placement in target markets
  • To develop the organization’s enterprise product database for promotion and marketing
  • To develop mapping of Employees in on-farm and off-farm sectors and target markets
  • To develop inventories for product promotion and exhibitions
  • To organize and ensure participation in exhibitions, roadshow
  • To establish business facilitation centers for the organization’s product display and promotion in key market areas.
  • To develop networking and linkages with the private sector and public sector such as SMEDA & Chambers and Co-operative for inclusion in markets and access to public funds
  • To develop linkages of organization’s small enterprises with micro-finance services providers to access affordable finances to scale-up businesses, different business forums and registration of businesses
  • To ensure linkages of the organization’s Small businesses and organization’s trainees on Digital marketing and digital platforms such as the National Incubation Centre and other digital platforms.
  • To develop linkages with social media influencers to scale up business sales
  • To design and develop training modules on marketing and entrepreneurship
  • To deliver capacity-building training on marketing and entrepreneurship.       
  • To develop business plans and business model frameworks of the identified beneficiaries.
  • To develop IEC material for the organization’s products and job placement.
  • To prepare weekly and monthly work plans and timelines of the project activities
  • Any duty assigned by line manager

Person Specification: 

  •   It is essential that the post holder shows a good understanding and adherence with organisation’s values and principles as well as commitment to organisation's vision, mission and core values.

Qualification: 

Masters with 3 years experience / Diploma & Certificates in Technical and Vocational Skills or Bachelor’s degree experience with 5 Years

Experience: 

  • Masters with 3 years experience / Diploma & Certificates in Technical and Vocational Skills or Bachelor’s degree experience with 5 Years
  • Relevant experience with national/international organizations/private sector/government and  preferably in development project.
  • He or She must have experience of working in development sector.

Language:

  • Urdu, Pushto and English
