We are seeking a passionate and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team . As a key member of our bookstore and stationery store, you will play a vital role in creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
Job Responsibilities:
- Customer Assistance: Provide friendly and knowledgeable assistance to customers, helping them find the perfect books and stationery items.
- Product Knowledge: Stay updated on the latest book releases, popular genres, and stationery trends to offer informed recommendations to customers.
- Sales and Upselling: Actively engage customers to drive sales and promote additional products, ensuring a positive and personalized shopping experience.
- Visual Merchandising: Maintain an organized and visually appealing store by restocking shelves, arranging displays, and ensuring products are well-presented.
- Cash Handling: Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash and electronic payments with integrity.
- Store Maintenance: Contribute to the overall cleanliness and tidiness of the store, including restocking inventory and monitoring supplies.
- Price Tagging: Accurately tag products with appropriate prices and ensure that all pricing is clear and visible to customers.
Qualifications
- Previous retail experience, preferably in a bookshop or stationery store.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with price tagging and inventory management systems.
- Passion for books, stationery, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
