Senior Process Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Process Engineer to lead process engineering activities across a range of upstream and downstream oil & gas projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in process design, simulation, and optimization, along with the ability to lead multidisciplinary coordination and deliver client-ready solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the development of process design deliverables including PFDs, P&IDs, mass and energy balances, process datasheets, and process narratives.
Perform detailed simulations using tools like Aspen HYSYS, ProMax, or equivalent.
Evaluate and design process equipment and systems — including separators, pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, columns, etc.
Conduct hazard and operability (HAZOP) studies and ensure all designs meet HSE and industry standards.
Support FEED, detailed design, and EPC phases across brownfield and greenfield projects.
Collaborate with mechanical, piping, electrical, and instrumentation teams to align technical inputs.
Review vendor documents, participate in technical bid evaluations, and assist with procurement support.
Engage in client meetings, technical reviews, and design validations.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Process Engineering from an accredited university.
Minimum 10 years of experience in oil & gas process engineering (consultancy, EPC, or operating company).
Proficiency in Aspen HYSYS and/or other simulation tools.
Strong understanding of international codes and standards (API, ASME, NFPA, ISO).
Excellent communication and coordination skills for working across disciplines and with clients.

Preferred Skills

Experience in brownfield modifications, process optimization, and debottlenecking.
Knowledge of process safety analysis and SIL assessments.
Familiarity with construction and commissioning phases is a plus.
