We are looking for an experienced Senior Process Engineer to lead process engineering activities across a range of upstream and downstream oil & gas projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in process design, simulation, and optimization, along with the ability to lead multidisciplinary coordination and deliver client-ready solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of process design deliverables including PFDs, P&IDs, mass and energy balances, process datasheets, and process narratives.
  • Perform detailed simulations using tools like Aspen HYSYS, ProMax, or equivalent.
  • Evaluate and design process equipment and systems — including separators, pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, columns, etc.
  • Conduct hazard and operability (HAZOP) studies and ensure all designs meet HSE and industry standards.
  • Support FEED, detailed design, and EPC phases across brownfield and greenfield projects.
  • Collaborate with mechanical, piping, electrical, and instrumentation teams to align technical inputs.
  • Review vendor documents, participate in technical bid evaluations, and assist with procurement support.
  • Engage in client meetings, technical reviews, and design validations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Process Engineering from an accredited university.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in oil & gas process engineering (consultancy, EPC, or operating company).
  • Proficiency in Aspen HYSYS and/or other simulation tools.
  • Strong understanding of international codes and standards (API, ASME, NFPA, ISO).
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills for working across disciplines and with clients.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in brownfield modifications, process optimization, and debottlenecking.
  • Knowledge of process safety analysis and SIL assessments.
  • Familiarity with construction and commissioning phases is a plus.
