Project Manager

CESVI Pakistan is seeking an experienced Project Manager with a robust background in climate change initiatives to lead our impactful projects. This role requires ten years of relevant experience, particularly within the NGO sector. The Project Manager will oversee a team of 20 dedicated individuals, ensuring that all project activities align with organizational goals and comply with established timelines and budgets. As a central figure in project planning and execution, the Project Manager will apply advanced skills in risk management, budget management, and stakeholder communication to drive project success. Additionally, this role necessitates strong leadership capabilities to motivate the team and facilitate effective collaboration among diverse stakeholders involved in climate change efforts.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and oversee all aspects of project planning, execution, and evaluation to ensure alignment with CESVI's mission and climate change objectives.
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and budgets, ensuring that resources are utilized effectively and efficiently.
Implement robust risk management strategies to identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks that may impact project delivery.
Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders, including local communities, government agencies, and partner organizations, to foster collaboration and support for project initiatives.
Lead and manage a team of 20 professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to enhance their skills and performance.
Organize and facilitate regular team meetings to communicate project updates, address challenges, and share best practices.
Monitor project progress and performance using appropriate tools and metrics, making adjustments as necessary to ensure project objectives are met.
Prepare and present comprehensive reports, proposals, and presentations to various stakeholders, ensuring clarity and transparency in project outcomes.
Engage in continuous professional development and training opportunities to stay up-to-date with best practices and emerging trends in project management and climate change.
Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate financial tracking and reporting, while adhering to grant and funding regulations.
