We are seeking an experienced and dynamic SEO Specialist to join our team and drive the search engine optimization efforts for our e-commerce stores, particularly those running on the Shopify platform. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SEO best practices, a proven track record of improving organic search visibility, and a passion for staying updated with the latest trends and algorithms in the digital marketing landscape.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings for e-commerce websites, with a focus on Shopify stores.
- Conduct keyword research, analysis, and implementation to optimize website content and product pages.
- Perform technical SEO audits and implement necessary fixes or improvements to enhance site performance.
- Collaborate with content creators and web developers to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into website design and content creation.
- Monitor and analyze site performance metrics, prepare regular SEO reports, and provide actionable insights to improve SEO performance.
- Stay updated with industry trends, search engine algorithm updates, and implement necessary changes to maintain and improve rankings.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an SEO Specialist with a strong background in optimizing e-commerce websites, specifically on the Shopify platform.
- In-depth knowledge of SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Moz) and demonstrated experience using them to drive SEO improvements.
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and website architecture as it relates to SEO.
- Experience with e-commerce SEO strategies including product page optimization, schema markup, and rich snippets.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to adapt to changes in search engine algorithms and implement strategies accordingly.
- Certifications in SEO or related fields are a plus.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in SEO, specifically within the e-commerce sector, preferably with Shopify stores.
