Chanar Sugar Mills Limited was incorporated as public limited company on 24th November 1990 having company registration No. L 02851 (amended as 0022801 w.e.f 01-08-2007) issued by Joint Registrar of Companies, Lahore to set up a sugar mills unit at Chak 407 G.B. Tehsil Tandlianwala, District Faisalabad. It was granted certificate of commencement of business on 30th December 1990 by Joint Registrar of Companies, Lahore. The authorized share capital of the company is 200,000,000 divided into 20,000,000 ordinary shares of Rs. 10/- each while the paid up capital is 9,357,600 ordinary shares of Rs, 10/- each. Its sole object is to set up and operate an industrial undertaking for the production of sugar and allied by-products. At present, its sugarcane crushing capacity is approximately 6,000 metric tons per day.
