LAAR ENVIRONMENTAL AWARENESS FORUM (LEAF) is of non-governmental organization which is working for mobilizing community for participatory development and promotes Health, Environment, Education, Entrepreneurship, Socio economic development and Empowering Youth while building up their capacities.

LEAF is registered under social welfare voluntary organization Act: 1961 with directorate of social welfare/ community development department govt. of Sindh in year 06-02-2008. It has strength of 23 energetic members comprising on both male and female of Badin, Thatha and Sanghar.

The LEAF, has been working, since its inception, on different sectors of social development focusing on Environment, Education, Health, Youth problems and for the betterment of the poor and needy peoples of the area through their active participation.

This organization is based on non-profit, non-sectarian and works with all the poor without any discrimination of caste, creed and gender. The main objective of the establishment of organization is to mobilize community for sustainable development and improve the living standard socially and economically through strengthening participatory development with special focus on women economic and social empowerment.

Vision:

LEAF envisions the development of the society in which all men and women are equal and have equal opportunities for basic Health, Primary education and Enterprise in echo-friendly environment.

Mission:

Promote sustainable development through community participation, endeavors to improve the living standard socially and economically through strengthening participatory development with especial focus on women economic and social empowerment.

Objectives:

• Mobilize community for participatory development and promote Health, Environment, Education and Entrepreneurship.
• Organize rural communities for socio-economic development.
• Aware Youth and build capacity to Empower them.
• Advocacy of the social problems and involve communities in the solution of problems
