The Position
We are seeking to hire a Senior SQA Analyst, with hands-on experience and expertise in manual testing and good programming knowledge, to help ensure high-quality and timely delivery of releases by performing manual and automation testing.
The successful hire will be located and work out of the Contour Software Lahore office, working as part of the resource-center team, as an extension of the division-based R&D department.
Job Responsibilities (WHAT YOU'LL DO)
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior QA Analyst to join our team. As a Senior QA Analyst, you will work on troubleshooting, testing, and ensuring high-quality web applications and services. You will be responsible for designing and developing test scripts, test cases, test procedures, associated data needs and documentation. Ensuring quality of our applications by implementing and maintaining QA best practices. You will collaborate within an Agile Scrum team environment, support business development, ensure customer satisfaction and provide mentoring and guidance when necessary.

• Ensure high-quality web applications and services using quality assurance best practices to execute functional and regression testing.
• Ensure reliable and quality solutions.
• Ensure the application meets all necessary security and compliance requirements.
• Assist with troubleshooting to resolve production issues and discovered bugs.
• Work on a scrum team to ensure timely delivery of high-quality features.
• Track work in Azure DevOps

• Bachelor's degree in quality assurance, computer science, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in a senior QA role.
• 4+ years of professional experience in QA role.
• Strong understanding of web development testing practices and technologies.
• Experience with MS SQL database, SQL, data validation, test data generation and management.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology, including working on a Scrum team and direct participation in refinement/planning.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience working with Microsoft Azure, AWS and or cloud-native applications.
• Experience with implementing and maintaining automated testing solutions (Cypress preferred)
• Experience with JIRA and or Azure DevOps.
• Experience with source control processes such as Git, with respect to testing artifact repository and automated testing.
• Experience establishing and maintaining QA procedures and best practices.
