Credentialing Executive

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Credentialing Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee the credentialing and re-credentialing processes for healthcare providers, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Credentialing Process Management:
- Perform credentialing and re-credentialing for healthcare providers, verifying qualifications, licenses, certifications, and other credentials.
- Ensure timely submission of credentialing applications to insurance panels, hospitals, and other organizations.
Compliance and Verification:
- Verify providers' professional licenses, malpractice insurance, education, and work history.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as organizational standards.
Documentation and Records:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date credentialing files, databases, and systems.
- Track and manage expiration dates for licenses, certifications, and other required documents.
Communication and Coordination:
- Act as a liaison between providers, insurance companies, and other third-party organizations to resolve credentialing-related issues.
- Provide timely updates to providers and internal teams on credentialing status.
Reporting and Problem-Solving:
- Prepare regular status reports and summaries of credentialing activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies or delays in the credentialing process.
