KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Project management: manage multiple textbook projects simultaneously, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Content coordination: coordinate with authors, subject matter experts, and curriculum specialists to develop and refine educational content according to curriculum standards and market demands.
  • Editing and proofreading: oversee the editing and proofreading process to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to company style guidelines.
  • Graphic design coordination: collaborate with graphic designers and illustrators to integrate visual elements effectively with textual content, ensuring alignment with educational objectives and aesthetic standards.
  • Print production oversight: coordinate with printing vendors to oversee the production process, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining quality standards.
  • Quality assurance: conduct thorough reviews of textbook drafts to identify and address any content or design issues, ensuring alignment with educational goals and market requirements.
  • Market research: stay informed about educational trends, curriculum changes, and competitor offerings to inform decision-making and ensure that textbooks remain relevant and competitive.
  • Vendor management: establish and maintain relationships with external vendors, negotiating contracts and ensuring timely delivery of services and materials.
  • Collaboration: work closely with internal teams, including editorial, design, marketing, and sales, to ensure seamless coordination and integration of efforts throughout the textbook development process.
  • Compliance and standards: ensure that textbooks comply with relevant educational standards, copyright laws, and industry
